Favre opens up in wide-ranging magazine story | StarTribune.com

WHAT A *********!

“The previous week against the Cowboys, we did the same exact play to Rice,” Favre told Rodrick. "We were up about 25 at the time, so it was different. He came back to me on a broken play, and we got 20 yards. This time, when I let it go, I’m thinking he’s going to come back to me. As he drifted farther and farther away, I could see the corner come in from the other side, and I’m thinking, Oh, [shoot].”

Good to know because he never "lost" any playoff games of this caliber in Green Bay. Oh wait, he did.

Killing the buzz.
If I were Sidney Rice I'd tell that old hillbilly to go **** himself.

Seriously. That's just stupid. And how many times did Sidney Rice make Favre look great last year with ridiculous catches on random 50 yard heaves? Answer? A lot.

Favorite part:

“As a player you’ve got to pull the trigger,” Favre added. “You can’t say, Well, is he going to do what I think he’s going to do? He wasn’t wrong, and in some ways, I wasn’t either.”

THAAAAT's the Favre we all know.
