This is another way that I can tell the Packers are doing badly.
I am the only one who is starting the weekly official game threads.
When in previous seasons other Packers forum fans were so excited to start these threads that they would sometimes be created either immediately after or before the previous game was even done.

I start them because I feel like the place wouldn't be the same without 'em.

With all the previous fiascos at Lambeau, I have no expectations for this game.
I won't be surprised if we lose or tie.
Winning would be nice, but at this point, so what?
I'm going to hold off on excitement until there is anything to be excited about.

It's not even the weekend of week 13, so for nobody to yet start a thread about our week 14 game, against a team who has 2 wins all season, that's not surprising to me.

Atlanta and Houston are the only 2 teams more disappointing than us this year.
Atlanta lost Steven Jackson for half the year, and Julio Jones for the season.
Houston lost Brian Cushing to a torn ACL, again, from another low block into his knee.
Arian Foster's season ended due to a back.
And Matt Schaub fell apart.

This game vs Atlanta was supposed to be 2 sure-fire NFC Super Bowl contenders, along with the 2 NFC West teams.
Hence it being the Sunday Night NBC game. Of course, it was flexed out.

Now the biggest ramifications from this game will be the top ten picks in next spring's NFL Draft.

By the way, this was the game I predicted Rodgers would be back for.
BUT I didn't expect us to have not won a single *#&%@ game since he went out.
So now perhaps they don't let him play yet, figuring if we are this bad without him, we might as well err on the side of caution.
Besides, Atlanta has only won 2 games. If we can't beat them with Flynn, in our stadium, then we don't deserve to have Aaron back.

I can't believe my December 15th suite tickets here on Dallas for the Cowboys Packer game is going to be a WASTE.
That was supposed to be a game of 2 division-leading NFC contenders.
Now, just them. :(

I need to move that to the DRAFT thread LOL
So far there is a lack of interest in discussing the Falcons game. At this point you are the only other one who has brought up things about it.
Hard to have an interest when there is no more wind in the sails.

I didn't know that crickets could still be heard at this time during the cold late fall in Wisconsin.

The Falcons, who have a worse record, beat the Bills at home.
If they can do that to them, they can do it to us.

For those who keep the faith, more power to ya and bless you.

The Bill played in Toronto inside a dome, this weeks game is going to be cold high around 17.
Are we still a dominant team in cold weather against those who don't play in the cold?
Since we are in Decemburrr, it should be colder than previous Lambeau games but the cold weather didn't effect any of the previous 3 Lambeau games in our favor.

The season is on the line with this game. Hopefully they actually show up to play this week... but I expected way more urgency in the Lions game than was there. :(

S. Jax has his best game of the season, Falcons face our hole filled defense and go wild. Tony Gonzalez goes the hell off on us as well.

Falcons 38

Packers 13

I think that's pretty close, but I see a little fewer points in the weather...... Falcons 31, Packers 17
3rd straight Lambeau game we don't win. UNHEARD of before.
I expected to go 8-0 at home this year and 5-3 on the road.
Whoops.

The defense better show up because despite their record the Falcons still have the firepower to score big.
Without Rodgers, the Packers offense; not so much.
