Slick, I have no way of knowing if your numbers are correct or not, but hasn't GB spent some of that money on Davenbasket, Steele, Jenkins, Martin, O'Dwyer, Chatman, Ruegamer etc at approx. 500K a pop? I doubt GB has that much left; they were just under the cap before cutting Sharper. They've had several signings since that time. Likewise, Franks will take approx 2.1M of that if no one else steals him from us or unless GB works out a cap friendly long term deal. It's going to be a rough couple of cap years for the Pack

Don't give me credit for the 'numbers' notice in the first couple lines "from pft.com" :) Also notice Posted: Thu Mar 31, 2005 8:56 pm.

I mainly posted it for us to have a ballpark figure/guestimatation. I should have posted that in the intiial post as well, my fault.

It's all good Slick; I wasn't trying to slam ya or anything like that. I'd like to think GB is under by that much. Question is will they use it on anyone who WILL make a difference for our Def?

I know bro, but I'm not about to pretend to be an EXPERT at other peoples numbers lol ...

I dunno if they will use it. My first thought is I hope they do, but then I remember what got us Sharper cut and why we lost Wahle which was because we ultimately spent money on FA's we should not have. So yea I'm a middle of the road junkie holding my faith in big TT.

Some may not like saving money but

Next year is Green Davenport Bubba if not done this year.
Javon Walker should be extended etc. We need to do some of next year's contracts this year with this year's cap. We can then get over some of Sherman's mistakes.
