Conan's Green Bay goof

NBC's Conan O'Brien has been on the air only a few days, so he's still learning the ropes.

But during last night's monologue, O'Brien told a joke about President Barack Obama being in Green Bay for a town-hall meeting.

Here's the joke: "Earlier today, President Obama spoke at a town hall meeting in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Half of the Wisconsin crowd had never seen an African-American and the other half had never seen a skinny person."

The joke wasn't funny. And Obama wasn't in Green Bay. At least not yet.

Obama is scheduled to have that town hall meeting on Thursday. Maybe by then, O'Brien will have his writers come up with a better Wisconsin joke.
