Being reported that Markel Bell, OT, Miami (FL) had a Zoom meeting with the Packers. He is a mountain of a man. We could use another swing Tackle on the roster if Belton is going to stay on the inside.

Another CB, tall but a little on the lighter side. His speed metrics aren't elite, but not overly slow either. Has some crazy explosion numbers.

Interesting prospect ED Michael Heldman, Central Michigan. Had 10.5 sacks last year. Late day 3 or UDFA option.

I read somewhere that over 35% of our Top 30 Visits are UDFA or unranked. The highest % since Ted Sauntered through the hallowed halls.

Must be looking to churn the existing roster, because after the draft picks we have, if we make all of them, only about 6 spots are left on the roster. We are sitting in the upper 70's right now.

Late Rd, UDFA Prospect. Played Tackle in college, but projects to inside, which is what we like.

Another CB, 6'1, 195lbs out of University of Louisiana-Monroe most likely an UDFA option. We are really using a lot of Top 30 visits on late Rd and UDFA prospects this year. With the extra 5th Rd pick from Wicks trade, assuming we use all 8 picks in the draft, that leaves only 4 spots for UDFA signings after the draft, at the moment.

Are you thinking we are just rounding out or buffering our Practice Squad ?

Man I'm not sure. 4 guys just doesn't seem like very many UDFA's to add after the draft to get to 90, so either they feel really good about who they already have in house, or there is going to be a few cuts in the next two weeks to add more.

Overall density is fairly solid though and he is a wider framed guy for being lighter. He is a zone coverage guy I worry about ever putting on an island personally, but not a bad potential prospect if we want to try him in the 4th IMO.

I personally really like him and if graded as a guard prospect I have a solid 7th/borderline 6th on him personally.

only to fans. Combine merely confirmed when many scouting departments and GMs already knew and had scouted.
For the most part this very true about the combine and scouts, but there were big questions about his speed before the combine. I know play speed is very different and the scouts won't double count this, but he put any questions around that to bed now. Draft boards can be very set, but certain things can move players up the board and for a corner, speed is pretty important.

That’s makes two WR’s on visits who are Top 50 types in this draft. GB isn’t playing around. It’s looking more likely that we are shooting for a WR or DT in RD2

Good job tracking @DoURant

This solves my mystery from last week! Tom Silverstein rescinded his earlier Post concerning this visit. I think he must’ve had insider news or something and mysterious happened. My guess is a staff member reached out to him and asked him not to post Lee Hunter Yet or they were keeping this one under wraps for whatever reason.

I think he’s near ideal for a 3-4 NT. I’m talking immediate starter. Won’t give us much Pass Rush (at least initially) but he’s going to stalemate inside lanes and even Henry isn’t running through him. I might send him into coverage like BJ! :roflmao:

Interesting Prospect. Was a Top 100 prospect out of High School. Had multiple suitors including scholarship offers from Clemson, Alabama, Michigan and Georgia. That doesn’t happen accidentally. Had a good start in Miami, but injury setback season kinda took him off the rails until his transfer to UCF. Immediately finished a 2-year starter.
Testing was a little abnormal with slow speed or agility drills, but in same breath or other areas such as explosiveness he grades great. Is more quick than he is fast. He’s also regularly disruptive with multiple FF and Blocked Passes and seeks to elevate with conditions as they often are in critical situations, which displays excellent awareness in the gravity of a play using elite hand techniques. Maybe a good use of a RD7 to Priority Undrafted

This would be great Bottom of the Roster depth or Practice Squad for a year to work on some notable strength concerns at NFL level

PS. I had read somewhere that he retested (possibly unofficial) on his 40 time at 4.68 sec. That’s a huge difference from 4.88 sec at Combine.

I just have a very dependable guy I follow religiously at this time of the year, Easton obviously has some good sources that he gets things quick, and he definitely posts that info asap to his followers.
