If Miller sniffs the early to mid 40’s.. Brian should really just package one of our likely trio of 2027, RD4 selections and trade up well in front of Detroit and Minnesota.BAM!!! Definitely happy to see this visit scheduled.

Next year's draft is expected to be very deep. I think trades involving picks for next year are going to look a bit lopsided. I expect us to sit tight. Based on our visits so far, we may consider taking a WR, RB, OLB, or ????.If Miller sniffs the early to mid 40’s.. Miller 100% fits the Bill from multiple angles. He’s really not even that expensive (draft collateral) in the grand scheme of things. If he clears the interviews well? Go get him!
There’s also a bunch of AFC teams and teams we’ve traded with in past in the mid 40’s area. It’s really the ideal area to trade into from our current Position or Draft Capital or positioning of our potential trade partners. From Draft Pick #39-47 there are EIGHT AFC teams before Atlanta (#48) MN (49) Detroit (50) Carolina (51).
If Miller Jr so much as sniffs #45 neighborhood? I’m completely stepping on MN and Detroits’ heads to go get him.
Could be. One thing I’d strongly consider when Roster building is not being lopsided draft to draft. That’s how you get a dozen guys all hitting FA simultaneously and you just can’t retain properly.Next year's draft is expected to be very deep. But Miller being there may be my best scenario.

Would you prefer using 52 and Wicks for Lawrence? We might have to throw Wyatt in as well.I concur with both of you....I will say though a scenario which might keep BOTH of these posts in mind:
Miami has two firsts and pick 43. Christen Miller is there come Pick 43.....
Gute calls Sully and offers our 52 plus Dontayvion Wicks (or Jayden Reed) - whichever player Gute/MLF/Ball don't have in 2027 projected plans. There is a real solid chance at that point whether it will be worked out or not....you might have to swap maybe one of our 4ths next year for one of their 5ths just to sweeten it some but not cost too much and go get a guy that would fit us perfectly.
*Chris Johnson CB is a CB I'm willing to do same exact thing on too.
How bout them Bulldogs!!BAM!!! Definitely happy to see this visit scheduled.

It's gotta be the "G" on the helmet that makes players from that school even more attractiveHow bout them Bulldogs!!

Nope not fiscally sound. He is gonna want a new contractWould you prefer using 52 and Wicks for Lawrence? We might have to throw Wyatt in as well.
I think he is worth it. Our run defense would be the best its been in a long time.Nope not fiscally sound. He is gonna want a new contract
If GB gets either Lee Hunter Or Miller Jr I think our Run D will still be plenty good. Hunter is more a pure Run Stopper, where’s Miller is better Rounded with Pass Rush ability. I see Miller as a Top 40-45 area value and I see Hunter as a Top 50-55 area value. I just think Miller is going to be eventually a more “Kenny Clark like” or very good at both Run and Pass sets.I think he is worth it. Our run defense would be the best its been in a long time.
Thanks Amish. That's an interesting factoid. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks all had visits and all made the 53 - and arguably, all will be key to the Packer's future. Still too early to tell, but it looks like a solid draft. Thanks for doing this. These visits are important to the Packers. Last year Golden, Belton, and Savion Williams were all visits.
Amen. This is a wonderful way to track players of interest pre draft. Just a side note though Savion didn’t get a visit last year that I know of? Maybe I had an incomplete list or he was virtual or last second idk. Might be confusing him with OL John Williams. But point still well taken both on appreciation and legitimacy that historically these are very much players we are targeting. Thanks for doing this. These visits are important to the Packers. Last year Golden, Belton, and Savion Williams were all visits.
Wow. Watched some mostly highlights and his fans comments and also film of his workouts. Many who followed him were surprised he didn’t get an invite (snubbed) as they said he was easily their best Defender at Georgia Tech.DT, 6'3" 310lbs. Jordan Van Den Berg out of Georgia Tech, is coming in for a Top 30. Scored a perfect 10.0 RAS... was there ever a doubt he would be brought in for a visit? 310 lbs and had a 36" vertical, WOW!!!

Height: 6-3½
Weight: 318 pounds
40-yard dash: 5.18 seconds
Vertical jump: 21½ inches
Notable: After redshirting at Auburn, he played three seasons at Central Florida and then finished up at Texas Tech. As a senior, he was a third-team Associated Press All-American and first-team all-Big 12. In 14 starts, he had 41 tackles, 2½ sacks and a forced fumble.
Another late Day 3/UDFA CB Prospect out of Wake Forest. With better explosion grades, he would have eclipsed the 9.0 RAS marker. Nice height at 6'1"You must be logged in to see this image or video!

Tom Silverstein. What’s odd is when it disappeared I questioned if I fresh posting Lee Hunter. Then I remembered I copied and pasted from Tom’s Top 30 list players and they have an identical format. So it was there yesterday but disappeared. Anyway, I’m deleting Lee Hunter until I can figure out why Tom removed him after this mornings post. Another oddity is now the article shows QB, Behren Morton? I’m not going to mix up a QB with a NT! I also find it odd both are Texas Tech prospects, that’s just a little weird also.lol. Either he made a mistake or wasn’t supposed to publicize that for some reason.I don't see anything that he was brought in for a Top30 visit from a credible source? Were you seeing this?
Give me Chris Johnson please. Dude has great ball skills, but I think the combine shot him up some boards. Two Zoom meetings I heard reported were.
CB Chris Johnson - San Diego St
OL Austin Barber - Florida
Love Johnson, my favorite player for the Packers... but yeah, unless we make a decent trade up, I think it's a pipe dream to get a shot at him.Give me Chris Johnson please. Dude has great ball skills, but I think the combine shot him up some boards.
only to fans. Combine merely confirmed when many scouting departments and GMs already knew and had scouted.Give me Chris Johnson please. Dude has great ball skills, but I think the combine shot him up some boards.
