I mean, come on.....y'all are a little nervous.
You can tell your old buddy Caleb's revenge.
It's OK. Nobody else has to know......
Hahahahahahhahahhahahaha
If you guys need a RB I’d trade you Emmanuel Wilson for a 2026 4th Rounder. I’d say 3rd but based on what I’m seeing your 4th will be about as close as it gets to a 3rd Comp

We're good.
I know everyone thinks that Swift had a bad year because the team did poorly, but if you look at the numbers, he didn't rush for 1000 yards, but he had more total yards than he had in his best year in Philly......and the same amount of TD's!!
R. Johnson is a versatile 2cnd option and the young guy outta Rutgers(iirc) will get ST and mop up if not more if he shines!!!

Pachinko ran hard for KC as a 7th rndr.

I think his legacy is extremely important to Rodgers, and I think he knows there's a good chance that he only has one more season to win that second ring. If he's truly waiting for some contender to lose their starting QB to injury, he's taking a huge chance.

There are only a handful of teams that are serious Super Bowl contenders, and sitting on his *** hoping one of them will break their quarterback is an enormous and frankly foolish gamble. He's no longer a guy who can carry a mediocre franchise on his back, but with the right team, I think he can still be a Top 10 QB - it's not a stretch to say that he could be the missing piece that Pittsburgh needs to become legitimate contenders. I think his chances with the Steelers are much better than the chance that one of 6 or 8 other contending teams will lose their quarterback after the season starts.
Is Pittsburgh a legitimate contender missing only a QB? Is there another team needing only a decent signal caller out there right now? If not this could be a reason why AR is unemployed (besides his salary demands and other baggage).

I would say that the Vikings are an even stronger contender, without a proven QB. If I was a Viking fan, not sure I would want to hang my hopes on JJ McCarthy guiding the Vikings to a SB. He's never taken a regular season snap in the NFL and is coming off of a torn meniscus, which required a 2nd surgery in Nov.

I've said it before, I think if Rodgers had his choice between playing for the Vikings or Steelers, he would sign with the Vikings.

Most of the world knows Rodgers is no longer a top-3 QB (or even top-12) ... except AR. The salary, personality, & lofty team-mate expectations make him a pariah (IMHO) & not a team leader bringing the team together.

While I agree with you, I think if you look at what both Cousins and Darnold were able to do with the Vikings, IMO Rodgers could do just as much, if not more than either of them. I also think that even with the negatives that Rodgers would possibly bring to Minnyshitty, he currently would be a better QB option than McCarthy, to lead the Vikings in 2025.

No idea how Minny could possibly afford AR. They have $16mil cap available for '25 but haven't signed their draft class. yet (unless I missed it). 2026 they're currently at -$30mil, so doubt they could/would even do a non-1 year deal? The Vikes will live or die with JJ in '25 unless Howell really steps up.

Sounds good to me. I do find it strange that the steelers traded Pickens though. I mean, do they have two decent receivers?

If there is one thing that I have learned from the NFL, it is this. No matter what the cap numbers are showing right now, a team can always creatively massage the numbers and rework some contracts, to free up more cap space if needed. I think Rodgers said that he would play for $10M/year.

I will say this about Minnesota. Yes, Justin Jefferson is a darn good WR, but giving him $35M/year, is going to put that teams nose against the cap for years to come.

35 mill for a WR is crazy af.
I know if you have a good one they can change a game, but you gotta have the line line and the quarterback to get them the ball.
I do agree with some of the posters, though I think Minnesota would be better off starting Aaron Rodgers this year than JJ. There's not a doubt in my mind that Rodgers could take them farther if you could stay healthy.

The Lions have a brutal road schedule this season.
