Taking a page out of @KyraReppe5, who did accurately pick Tytus Howard in the 1st Round by the way.

This is going to take some interesting projections, as an entire round and a third of another will take place before we can pick our player.

Here are my preferred targets:

C
Lamont Gaillard
Ross Pierschbacher

CB

Michael Jackson - Miami
Mark Fields - Clemson
Jimmy Mooreland - James Madison

DE
John Cominsky - Charleston

DT
Isaiah Buggs - Alabama
Chris Slayton - Syracuse
Albert Huggins - Clemson

OLB
Jordan Brailford - Oklahoma State

OG
Beau Benzschawel - Wisconsin
Deion Calhoun - Mississippi State

ILB
Cameron Smith - USC
Blake Cashman - Minnesota

RB
Bryce Love - Stanford
Justice Hill - Oklahoma State
Benny Snell Jr - Kentucky

S
Jaquan Johnson - Miami
Saquan Hampton - Rutgers
Jamal Peters - Mississippi State

OT
Isaiah Prince - Ohio State
Dennis Daley - South Carolina

WR
Anthony Johnson - Buffalo
Kelvin Harmon - NC State
Keelan Doss - UC Davis
Gary Jennings - West Virginia
Davis Sills - West Virginia

I hate that we traded away those 4ths for a safety. We could have Kelvin Harmon who would likely become the starting outside WR

Well it's water under the bridge now. I truly believe Gute thinks that the current crop of WRs is enough, and I'm supportive of that idea.

My No. 1 on that list would be Daley, but we would have to get lucky for him to survive the 4th. As that's likely the case, Cominsky followed by Smith and Cashman would be the favorites. There are enough WRs and DBs on that list that at least 2 or 3 will survive til the 6th Round.

Froholdt is another G who should be considered. Supposedly did very well in pass protection in the SEC and was labeled as a steal by PFF

There’s lots of good receivers.
I’d like to see us nab Darius Slayton he’s from my Mock to groom behind Cobb, but he’s a good fit for GB, fast with great YAC. While on a small sample size, I gave him just a smidge behind McLaurin but with all these B grade receivers I see him as a B+ that might be there round 5. Slot version of MVS.

I’d go either RB or WR if possible 5th-6th rounds

I don’t care how they do it, but if the Packers leave today with Bisi Johnson and Trayveon Williams, I don’t care if they only make 2 picks today, I’m happy with the 6 players they have.

I really love Bisi Johnson.

Still hoping Travis Homer's name is called, and really, really, hoping that we hear Kaden Elliss to the Packers.

It's too far away. Hope we trade up lol

Pretty hard to trade up with the ammo we have left, unless it involves a current player or future picks.

With their final 4 picks, I look for RB, ILB, DT, K or a return specialist.

The waiting between picks is the hardest thing for me. Watching the players you like getting plucked off the board.

Could be worse, Bears fans may have decided not to even watch it this year. :D

Disclaimer: Not a draftnik so much this year so the following is without any knowledge of what is or is not likely to be there.

On draft day 3, in no particular order, I'd like to see more foot speed on offense (RB or WR who can also return kicks), DT speller for Clark, Daniels, etc., and a developmental QB as I'd like a baby signal caller born and bred in Lafleur's system to make Kizer a little nervous.

Note: For the 38th consecutive year, I do not expect to be selected by the Green Bay Packers in the draft. 5'7', 216, 60 years young in June. Not discouraged this year though, as I'm expecting to sign a no-football deal with the Baltimore Orioles before the June draft.

One thing that became pretty clear to me during this draft, Gute and the Packers must feel pretty comfortable with their current WR group. There were quite a few pretty decent WR's sitting there at #44 and Gute stayed away from them.

Not to make this all about me :D

But Day 3 has to include at least one of these guys, if I plan on winning the 53rd Annual Amish Draft!

5. Nate Herbig: G, Stanford
5. LJ Scott: RB, Michigan State

6. Alec Ingold: FB, Wisconsin

7. Matt Gay: K, Utah
7. Corbin Kaufusi: EDGE, BYU
7. Jake Browning: QB, Washington

Gute may very well think that OL is a bigger need or maybe that no WR was rated as high or higher than Elgton. And BPA is BPA.

While I am pumped on Jenkins, I found it really interesting. With Cole Madison coming back and the addition of Billy Turner in FA, I’m surprised on the pick. I know they lost Byron Bell, but I figured they will target a T in case Madison doesn’t work out and they can finally dump Spriggs.

Madison is a 5th round pick and I hope the Packers arent pinning their Hopes on him. I thought they should go G/T who can play G now and move to T next year.

Bell was our worst OL with Taylor next. Bahk was best and Linsley 2nd. Spriggs was next and is underrated by most Packer fans. Spriggs was our 2nd best run blocker and average in pass protection.

I wonder if our plan is to roll with Spriggs as ROT. He has gotten better each year - grading out higher each year. This season he was above average for most of the year.

Agreed and I think I said that mainly to those of us who thought WR might be a relatively high need. Only 3 WR's (M. Brown, Harry and Samuel) were off the board when the Packers were up at #44 and 10 came off soon after.

The 4th round can't get over FAST enough! I feel like a kid sitting at the kitchen table at Christmas, waiting for my slow mother to finish eating so we can continue to unwrap gifts!

The only thing that stings about the Savage trade is Riley Ridley just became the newest Chicago Bear....

While Spriggs might have improved since entering the league he still can't be trusted to consistently protect Rodgers.

I think Spriggs might have been one of "Gute's Guys" under Ted Thompson. I think he's sticking with him since he has shown improvement. Depending on how Bulaga and him shake out, we could be spending a late 1st on RT in 2020.

The Packers might consider Turner as a starting right tackle but with Bulaga's contract expiring after this season I agree the position will be in need of an upgrad next offseason.

I do think it's possible (note-- I am using the word "possible," not "certain" or "smart") that they still think Spriggs could be something and want to give it one more season.

He's been around a while but he's only 24.
