Sherman to return, speak on leadership

    Press-Gazette

DE PERE -- Mike Sherman will return to the Green Bay area later this month for his first public appearance since being fired as the Packers’ coach.

Sherman, now the coach at Texas A&M University, will speak about leadership and take part in a question-and-answer session at an April 25 program at St. Norbert College.

The event will take place at 4 p.m. at Old St. Joseph Church on campus. It is organized by St. Norbert students taking the school’s leadership studies minor.

Sherman, 53, compiled a 57-39 record with the Packers from 2000 to 2005. He was fired in January 2006, then spent two seasons as the Houston Texans’ assistant head coach.

Trom is referring to Sherman falling asleep at some scouting event, I think it may have been the combine actually, and being caught on camera.

He had "crib notes" on all the players written on the insides of his eyelids!
