I like this move. It’s about right $ wise when factoring the $19mil yearly across 2027-2029. Potentially 4 more years for Wyatt. He ended up being a good pick at the end of RD1.

I actually predict given the guarantee number is surprisingly low that it is essentially a through 2027 deal and likely re-up or willing to walk.

Wouldn't be shocked if it really isn't a three additional year extension but a 2026|2027|2028 deal where 2026 is re-worked to lesson his hit a few million dollars and 2028 balloons up.

Time will tell the structure story...

IT still is insane to me how old Wyatt is....
Right?? 28 is insane for how many years hes in the league for. Like I said before, it's great to lock up a talent like him for his prime. Was not a huge fan of his coming out. Glad to be wrong

What was the guaranteed amount? A low number would mean it's more like a two-year deal. A new contract or an extension will be when Wyatt is 30. He's very motivated to play well to get the contract extended at least one more time with the Packers.

I'm glad he's locked up for at least a year or two. It took him time to develop and he's a solid DL. With Hargrave added, Wyatt healthy, and rookie McLellan on board, that looks to be a much improved DL.

Love the deal, lock Wyatt up for his prime.

Seems relatively cap-friendly, given the potential Mr. Wyatt has if he can stay healthy.

Al-in-all, it looks like a good deal for Green Bay and gives DW some security.
