Personally, I don't hate the Cowboys that much these days. I think what it is with this fan base here is kinda the same things that go into the needless knocking of Troy Aikman under the pretense that he carries a bias against Green Bay. I highly disagree with that as there's been no grounds to prove it. I think most fans just don't like him because he always was praising Mike McCarthy, and if you didn't like McCarthy, well you probably wouldn't like a commentator praising him. But as to the generalized dislike of Dallas, I think it's probably a few things 1. For older generations, their memories of the 90s and fixations on all the years the Packers had to go down to D-Town at that time will never go away for some of them, even though of course things have changed quite a bit since then. I'd say the Packers have redeemed themselves in many ways, but some will never see it that way. 2. Maybe it's because Cowboy fandom is still very bandwagonish even to this day. Many people who don't have connections to the city of Dallas still adopt them because they've long had the reputation of coolest team on the block. I mean, yeah the Patriots and Seahawks certainly have bandwagon fans out there, but I'd say even to this day that bandwagon Cowboys fans and bandwagon Steelers fans are more ubiquitous. 3. They're a Jerry Jones owned team. The man has long had that evil greedy man being too opulent reputation and ... Well when even Cowboys fans themselves don't really care for him well, that's not usually good. 4. Kind of a ridiculous reason but, yeah they're Skip Bayless's team. Personally I think the fact that certain fans here just won't quit watching that show is worse than the man saying his thing. I mean seriously, with all the million and one other football/sports debate shows out there to watch
