He's credited in some circles with creating the first modern approach to the NFL draft. He was responsible for drafting much of the HoF talent that Lombardi relied on and was chiefly responsible for bringing Lombardi to GB. Kind of wonder what might have been if he didn't die at 33 years old in 1960.
