I'm surprised that the Eagles are ranked that close to the top.

OK, is anyone else tired of seeing the Seahawks at the top of the lists?? I know, I know, they earned it. But it still frosts me.

Something tells me preseason week 3, the final dress rehearsal with first team vs. first team, and Bradford's performance in particular in that game, has quite a bit to do with it.

The sports book is a "wisdom of crowds" phenomenon, or lack thereof as one chooses to perceive it. Any sports book operator that intends to stay in business for the long haul renders no opinion on the proposition beyond the opening line. He just rebalances the odds with the objective of getting equal wagering volume on each side of the proposition, and then just collect the vigorish.

I think Miami is going to have a good team this season and they'll challenge NE for that division and may even win it. Hell, I think NE could get 3rd place in that division this season with Miami and Buffalo both ahead of them.

Those 2 teams are definitely on the rise. everyone is waiting on the Patriots fall from grace, and that day is coming sooner rather than later. But exactly when is hard to tell. I think Miami may push the issue a little faster than they'd like. We'll see if it's this year or not.

During the Playoffs it looked like Seattle was falling apart... I dont feel they beat us in the sense that we beat ourselfs. Is it me, or does Wilson seem to have some Cutler in him? I dont think the seahawks should be that high.

When Wilson's huge new contract kicks in Seattle will be dismantled.

I'm surprised the Jaguars are ranked as the least likely to win it all this year. Their team has improved over the offseason and I do not think they will be nearly as terrible as the Redskins, Bears, or Titans. I honestly wouldn't be completely shocked if they even squeaked into the playoffs this year (surprised, yes...but not shocked).

Packer fans really need to get over the Wilson contract. I'ts kicked in $7 million this year, $18 million next year. Seattle's cap space the next 4 years.

2016 $22 million
2017 $40 million
2018 $90 million
2019 $142 million

Wilson contract will affect the Seahawks as much as Rodgers contract affected the Packers.

The prognosticators have two words to explain the Vikings' rise in rankings; "Adrian" and "Peterson". I'm not sure how improved the Dolphins will be.
Best you look past Peterson and on to Bridgewater. Peterson is good for an extra 6 points per game when he plays a full game. But that is not what you need to look out for this year. Bridgewater is becoming a very accurate passer and if people stack the box to stop Peterson, he will make them pay for it. The Vikings WR's are fast and Teddy seems to have good timing with Johnson, Wright and Thielen. Once he has it down with Wallace.......

Eagles? Hell the Vikings and Dolphins are tied for the 10th spot.

Well, while I don't agree with the hype about the Vikings the Journal Sentinel has them ranked fourth in the NFC in their season preview.

I dont think the seahawks should be that high.

The Seahawks are the two-time defending NFC champions and haven't lost a ton of talent this offseason. They should be ranked on top entering the season, hopefully that perceptions changes after week 2 though.
