I appreciate the honesty in trying to be fair. However both sides had miscues that were crucial. 1. Savage missed another very catchable INT on what appeared to be a tipped pass by our D. 2. Rodgers took a delay of game on a crucial goal to go from inside the 1 yard line. He made up for it by scrambling back to the 1, but it essentially netted a loss of down. We would’ve had 2 tries from 1 yard, instead of one try from 1 yard. That play alone could’ve cost us the game. 3. There was a run by Murray that his knee touched on the way down and I froze that play. He was near 1 yard shy of the first down marker. The Ref moved the ball forward a full yard and gave him the first down. 4 The AZ fumble on KR was actually recovered slightly inside the 2 yard line. When they set the ball for our O, the ball was moved back a full yard to the 3. 5 Poor Khylin ran out a ball from -4 in the Endzone in a game where field position was at a premium. Had there been no returner we would’ve netted +15 yards and not lost him to season ending. 6 Malik pushed an AZ player in the back that had zero bearing on the return. Amari took it to the 36 and was DJ ready upfield from the infraction. Instead we started from our 10. That’s a 26 yard penalty, which is crucial in low scoring games. 7. There was another play that AZ caught a pass and ran out of bounds outside 5 min. The game clock stayed frozen after reset. That basically gave AZ a free 20 sec Timeout in a time sensitive game that came down to seconds at the end. 8. On the Cobb route to the left Endzone corner where Rodgers appeared to slightly overthrow, Cobb got hand hooked by an AZ DB around the waist area as he tried to bend to corner. It was 1 sec brief but slowed his route. You could also see Cobb turn and look for the flag. 50% of the time that gets called 1st n goal from the 1. I’m not negating that there was some sloppiness, but more so just stating that both teams were fortunate and had miscues or got lucky.
