Stud DEFENSE-Played out of its mind! What a miraculous transformation this unit has undertaken since Week 1. I could never have imagined that the group that exerted zero pressure, played soft coverage, and looked, old, slow, and lost could have morphed into what we saw last night. We may have now have one of the best pass rushes in the league; Murray was running for his life all night. Gary is blossoming, Lowry is playing the best football of his life, Preston looked fast again, Douglass is a gem, the safeties are tackling, and Campbell is the glue that holds it all together. It cannot be overstated how impressive a performance this was. Dillon-Powerful, quick, and decisive. Good job in pass protection too. The yards after contact (especially on 4th down) were particularly important and impressive. Jones-Powerful, quick, and decisive. Good job in pass protection too. I would have liked to see a few more quick, easy slants in stride to soften them up for the SLUGGO (which I called was coming) instead of going for it on an early route. Rodgers's Toughness-Not his greatest game by any stretch, but you must respect the man's toughness in this one. He was utterly blown up on the TD pass to Cobb; not long thereafter, he proceeded to fight through contact and go headfirst towards the end zone, getting flattened coming up just short. His will was on display tonight. EQ-4th Down was incredibly clutch, we should have went to him more. We can't run a slant or two for some easy completions with that 6'5" frame? Seems obvious. It was also obvious that he was one of the few guys Rodgers felt comfortable going to. Bojorquez Dud Amari Rodgers-He was shook early on. Get him off returns, he doesn't look comfortable at all. Neman-Man, if he just hits that block on the first quarter screen Jones may still be running Red Zone Offense-I know we are shorthanded, but can we close a damn game?
