I don't think that having someone else calling the plays is such a huge deal with other coaches on an NFL staff being ready to make it work as well. Just take a look at the Browns last season as evidence for it. The team was missing their head coach and offensive play caller (aside of some other coaches on that side of the ball) in a playoff game at Pittsburgh and ended up winning the game by scoring 48 points. Rodgers scrambled to the one-yard line after the delay of game penalty, resulting in the Packers having a fourth down from the 1.</blockquote>
