This team isn't this bad, but they clearly have work to do and need a couple more players to seriously contend. But early on, a decent punt and the way our defense was playing early, would have given us much better field position and a better chance. We had horrible field position to start and kept giving them the ball at mid field. </p><p></p><p>Our special teams don't offer any sort of spark, they offer nothing. It's a phase of the game that can help jump start a team when things are really tough and our's repeatedly is an anchor around our neck. It's not a part of the game that can jump start things, it's something that has to be overcome and when you're playing a really good team like the 9er's, you can't add something else to the least that must be overcome.</p><p></p><p>Everyone better learn a lot from this game, players and coaches.</p></blockquote><p></p>
