Message: <blockquote data-quote="adambr2" data-source="post: 486887" data-attributes="member: 7277"><a href="http://www.packerforum.com/threads/tramon-williams-signed-4-year-extension-on-his-packer-contract.23661/" target="_blank">http://www.packerforum.com/threads/tramon-williams-signed-4-year-extension-on-his-packer-contract.23661/</a> There's literally not a single person that wasn't happy with the contract when it was signed.  Hard to criticize TT for the Tramon deal.  It's easy to say he's overpaid in retrospect.   I think on Woodson, his extension in 2010 was somewhat of a reward for his play for us over the years.  I think we were pretty well aware when we signed him to a 5 year extension in 2010, that he wasn't going to continue to be worth 8 figures for that long.  They'll release or restructure him this year.   I won't disagree on Hawk.  Bad contract which is made worse by the fact that it's structured in a way that we really can't get out from under it.  Not TT's best contract.  He's a fantastic GM, but Hawk, Chillar, and Poppinga were all some pretty puzzling moves.  Hard to find a GM without a few of those, though.</blockquote>
