Yesterday's win was so fun. We got to watch it live on TV down here. Hader was really bringing it and we got a lot of runners on base. It was disappointing that we left so many stranded like we have in the past. I'm looking forward to watching Burnes start tomorrow.

Both Hader and Peralta looked pretty wicked. Woodruff a bit shakey, but I think he will get back in the groove. Eyes on the Cubs series starting Monday!

I was getting my Covid vaccination ... the one made with used car parts, armadillo penises and nuclear waste ... and thought the same thing. Then my kid texted me this: "They'll just break your heart, huh?". I was pleasantly surprised because it seems the Twinkies just seem too ... Ya know...

From what I hear the Cubs are not going to be the Central juggernaut they have been lately. They lost to the Pirates yesterday.

Brewers undefeated Season comes to a screeching halt on Saturday and so far on Sunday, their bats look lifeless again.

Shaw may have settled back in, but man the Brewers at bats are like watching a train wreck!

Keston Hiura hasn't had a hit in 4 games! 0-16.

Team batting average of .162

48 strikeouts in 130 AB's

OBP: .231
SLG: .223

Time to start looking for a new hitting coach?

I get the impression Arcia wasn't wanted in Milwaukee. They have had him on the trading block since last year. They basically gave him away and leaves them pretty thin at SS with Urías I assume taking his spot.

I was never a fan. He never saw a pitch he didn't like no matter where it landed and struck out a lot. Plus he wanted to catch everything in his vicinity even if another player had a better angle. I won't miss him.

This didn't age well :(

After his hot start Travis seems to have gone back to not playing so well? I honestly haven't watched many Brewer games, especially since YouTube TV removed Fox Sports.

Seems like the good news with the Brewers centers around their Pitching and Burnes, Woodruff and Peralta. Let's hope the bats come alive and the pitching stays strong!

Do we even dare discuss the Crew? I mean, every time we do, we bring down the onus on them and their bats go into the witness protection program.

They had a bullpen day yesterday and still won. ***?

I think they're off to Pittsburgh today.

That was a crazy fun game to watch. I arrived to visit my sick Dad when it was 7-0. He was like "turn it off, they are going to get slaughtered today". I said "oh come on they will score at least 14 runs in no time and be back in it!" We ended up watching it and he said after, was that taped and you knew the outcome? :roflmao:

Amazing how their bats have come alive, but yes, let's not jinx it!

Let's talk about sweeping the Cubs. Lots of positive karma in that. Counsell warned against getting too up because the division will come down to end of the season anyway.
