I was thinking, again. For the second time today!

We could continue this Play by Play set up we currently have.

Which is games I have available I do the play by play and I find someone (NEVER DEPENDING ON AADP AGAIN) to join with me to help keep the room and chat kept up.

OR

Would you like it if I were to jus set up ventrilo through my headset/mic so you can all hear Wayne Larivee and Larry McCaren do the play by play live?

I figure this way it gives you someone who is way more knowledgable than myself and more professional plus you get to hear some quality Wisconsin commercials! :)

I could always keep doing it. I like doing it, but whatever you guys want I'm down with.

The radio option would have to be cleared by Ryan first, but I'm sure it would.

How bout the pack announcers and during the crap wisconsin commercials, you talk.

That'd be awesome, but I'd have to switch from radio to me then flip it back to the radio all the time. Unless I was extremely graceful and I'm not, it'd be annoying to hear the shuffling to everyone.

It's not legal for us to broadcast (rebroadcast) Wayne Larivee and Larry McCarena. It's the boys from PF.com or nothing, sorry guys and gals.

Why not try to get "express permission from the NFL"?

I mean, what are they gonna do, say NO to a few computer wankers who are listening to the game over the internet?

It's not like you're making money off it or anything.

Maybe they'd give you permission.

(Except, of course, if their crapass lawyers get wind of it.)

I voted before I read the first post, so I thought the question was "Which do you prefer, radio or PF.com?" I picked radio because I can actually use it.

Mac users are people too!! :p

I really don't think there are any losers in the radio over ventrilo bit.

The NFL gets exposure.
The radio channel gets exposure.
Their commercials are heard.
The announcer can get some fans that otherwise he/she would not have.

If anything, the FAN radio station would be honored that we chose their station.

This is from someone who is NOT a lawyer. So I completely see where Ryan is coming from. He spent a lot of time on this site and to have it discarded because of a radio broadcast would be silly and not worth the risk no matter how limited I or someone else think it is.

Sponsors would.

Hear a Subway commerical and you've been hungry for awhile.

Go to subway because you jus heard the commercial and heck that sounds like a good idea.

They could disclose to their sponsors "our brodcast is not limited to the region, people in canada will be hearing your commercials as will throughout the country"

The NFL would never agree to it. Up until a couple of years ago, you could listen to the feed for free right from the Packer website. Now a few stations will broadcast the game on a couple of minute delay but very few Packer stations will because the NFL threatened to drop them if they broadcast the games over the Internet. That way, the NFL can force us to subscribe to NFL Field Pass to hear it. If you want to find a Packer game from a radio station online, your best bet seems to be to try the opponent's stations. Not the same announcers but better than missing the game altogether.
