First off, this is all hindsight. I never intentionally cheer for my team to lose. I was on the bandwagon near the end of that season (And postseason).

But looking back, would this team have been better off not making the postseason that year? In the end, we got a worst draft pick & no Super Bowl. We were destroyed by Atlanta. It strengthened MM's job security. Missing the postseason two consecutive years may have led to a new coach this season. It also could've led to a new GM before 2017.

So, in the end would we have been better off missing the postseason that year?

This is a slippery slope to go down. If you say this, you might as well say we'd be better off finishing last every year since 2010, so we'd have seven straight years of #1 picks. We'd be loaded by now.

Us Packer fans are "Football Brats" to expect for the packers to be in the postseason every year.
There isn't to many teams that hit a home-run with their personal and draft picks every year.
