39 games in a row? And there is an injury concern?
You can find a 'Beware' issue with every player in the draft.
After reading this post I'm not concerned.McClellin disputes concussion concerns
An NFL Network report that Boise State defensive end/outside linebacker Shea McClellin sustained three concussions at Boise State has been making the rounds on draft-tracking websites recently.
Today, McClellin told me the report is not true. He did get a concussion in 2010 at Wyoming and a mild one in 2009, he said. "It's like 1 1/2," he said.
McClellin said he changed helmets after the Wyoming concussion and never had another problem.
McClellin missed one game in 2009 with a hamstring injury and the last three games in 2008 with a knee injury. He played in the last 39 games of his career.
Just to put it out there
Everyone is susceptible to head injuries and getting knocked out of games. I don't see any reason to think that there is any greater risk with Shea than with any other player. There doesn't appear to be a history there. When it comes to injuries though, this should come as a special concern. Because not only for some strange reason do our players have trouble staying healthy, but the last thing we need is the perceived solution to our pass rush to get knocked out and miss games.

Rodger's had two concussions in 2010. Perhaps we should look to trade him when his contract is up, you know, because of the injury risk.
