The person told The Associated Press about the decision on condition of anonymity because Peterson did not plan to announce his plans until Monday. LSU has scheduled a media conference for Peterson on Monday, but the university is not discussing the player’s intentions at this time. The 6-foot-1, 222-pound junior, who also handled kickoff and punt returns, routinely covered opponents’ top receivers one-on-one and is widely projected to be a first-round pick. He had four interceptions and returned two punts for touchdowns. - AP Sports

Peterson is our #1 overall CB regardless of class year. At 6-1, 222 he has unmatched size at the position. His speed is great at an estimated 4.42e 40 time. He is also versatile, as he can play FS or return kicks. He is highly touted as a potential HOFer in the NFL. His aggressive play is similar to that of Nate Clements. He should go top 5 in the draft.
