I noticed that we rushed for a combined 226 yards against the Bears. I looked back at some of the single game stats that I have back to 2009 and couldn't find anytime during the past seven seasons where we even broke 200 yards in a game. The Packers website lists the top 5 rushing games for the Packers. I would note that with only 23 attempts compared to what is noted below, we did pretty well. Does anyone know the last time that we rushed for 226 or more yards in a game? I couldn't find it with a web search.

64 attempts!?!?!? LOL

Im telling you. I remember Ladanian Tomlinson run, and Montgomery reminded me of it yesterday. The fitting through small holes, burst, vision, and flat out acceleration..... He looked like LT and the stats shown it...

I think we should play him like Marshall Faulk... Out there every play, and going out for passes out of the backfield. Burning LBs....

No more running him into the wall at the goal line. He should get the easy TD in the flat like Faulk would do... Make it look easy.

Robert is right about the Packers rushing for 230 yards vs. the Cowboys late last season. The average of 9.83 yards per attempt vs. the Bears on Sunday is the highest for the team by more than a yard when having 20+ attempts since at least 1940 though.

On an individual basis......On Dec. 28th, 2003 the Packers gained 262 yards on 34 attempts against the Broncos, that was mostly aided by Ahman Greens 218 yards on 20 attempts....which would have been 10.9 yards/carry.

Montgomery´s average of 10.13 yards per attempt is the second highest number for a Packers running back with at least 16 attempts since 1950.
