Sadly, I will be on the road Thursday and won't be able to participate in our annual fun event of trying to put together the Packers schedule, before it is officially released! This is actually one of my favorite days of the Packer year, since it is almost like an easter egg hunt and logic puzzle, trying to determine the schedule.

Anyway......have fun without me and Go Pack Go!

The next special event will be when we make our season predictions in late August. Hopefully, the Packers won't try and pull another Parsons and screw up our prognostications.

According to Andy Herman, there is a rumor floating around that Saints game might be in Paris.

There were rumors we might be playing the Saints in Paris... I guess that is not going to happen, it's the Steelers.

Who knows but I just read that we have the toughest schedule in the NFL.

What a boneheaded day to schedule an NFL game! Playing NFL football on Wednesday? That is reserved for basketball and hockey. $$$ has taken over for good. Family means nothing.

I would guess that we either have a Thursday game the week before, or our bye week.

We are up there all right. That is why it is not realistic to believe our record will surpass that of last season. But at least if we are underdogs each week the team should not suffer any letdowns and will play with a sense of urgency....We hope.

Still two more games around Thanksgiving to go. Late game, and Black Friday game.

Dranksgiving evening or Blackout Wednesday!! The busiest night for bars. Might as well give everyone a good game to watch before stumbling to their cars & swerving home. ;)

If they play Sunday. And then have a bye and then play on Wednesday, that's 10 days. Then they could play the following Thursday, or go until Sunday which would be 11 more days in between games.

I think it means 6-7 days away from team activities. (party yacht, Kids to Disney) That would mean Monday for game prep and Tuesday for travel to LA.

If that's how it works, they could foreseeably play on Thursday, have a Bye, then play Wednesday, that's almost 2 weeks. The NFL can't do a Sunday and the Wednesday game, the players need recovery time. They already hate Sunday then Thursday games.

Bye week would be nice. I can't imagine they would treat either the Packers and Rams differently for a Wed night game, so both can't be coming off of a Thursday night game the week before. So week 11 bye for both teams makes the most sense.
