Next step opinion solicitation

I have not figured out what TED wants other than younger, cheaper, expendable personnel who are his hires and nobody else's. Other than that I wonder if he has a plan.

1) Is Rodgers to learn to QB in the NFL or die trying like Alex Smith in 05?

2) Which assistants will be fired?

3) Will Jim Bates be gone before his contract expires??

4) How many coaches will choose the highway instead of TED's way??

5) How many free agent player will choose to leave the Packers now?

6) Will you be suprised if the scouting dept. is "revised" or "restructured" in May and June?

7) Is Ted more like Don Vito Corleone or Michael Corleone?

I think he is more like Michael. Vito was a nicer GM (Godfather/Manager).

- A-Rod already got more practice time, and learning time than Alex Smith. Alex Smith was thrown to the wolves. Their oline was worse than ours.


2) Which assistants will be fired?

-A lot of them is my guess. We need to fire our Cornerbacks and DB coach Lionel washington is his name i think. I blame him for Ahmad Carroll and every young CB we have that sucks ***. Al learned his game already before he came here, and thank god for that.

3) Will Jim Bates be gone before his contract expires??

- From what I have learned, Bates has to stay in Gb for 2 years, UNLESS someone hires him as a HC. There arent many openings left, and mike sherman,mike tice, and other former HCs are out there too now. So I think he stays


4) How many free coaches will choose the highway instead of TED's way??

5) How many free agent player will choose to leave the Packers now?

- Again

6) Will you be suprised if the scouting dept. is "revised" or "restructured" in May and June?

- Does that matter?

There's no way Bates will stay if he doesn't want to (and I really don't think he does).

Mike and Ted will have to do what it takes to keep Jim Bates. Either give him a healthy raise to make Jim feel that he is definately wanted and needend here in GB or even assistant head coach title with the money.

I think he is more like Michael. Vito was a nicer GM (Godfather/Manager).

He's more like Santino 'Sonny' Corleone, doing things his way and against the opinions of his consigliere (the fans). If he doesn't manage to retain bates, I would stay away from toll booths if I was Ted, that's what got Sonny in the end.
