Of the several thousand NFL games played.. What’s the most memorable game that sticks out in your mind?

#1 Super Bowl XXXI

I remember Bill Bellamy picking the patriots and hating him ever since. Where is that guy now?

#2 2007 NFC divisional game

That game was just so freaking awesome.

the harsh losses of last season are pretty unforgettable at Tampa, Pittsburgh, and Arizona...that Seattle game in '07 was awesome down by 2 scores and coming back in dominating fashion by Ryan Grant, ever since then it's like he has no explosiveness left...(sorry can't help it)...Denver in '07 in overtime to Greg Jennings, that was rediculous...onsides kick recover by Brandon Underwood was awesome in Arizona

non packers - Giants Pats SuperBowl I was at.

Packers - So many. Both SBs. All the NFC championships. and even a family night game where a certain retired QB came back into town and the starting QB played the worst game I have ever seen him play.

The NFL Championship game on Jan 11, 1998 at the 'schtick' was memorable. An El Nino muddy affair.

I miss Reggie.

67 championship game. (I know I know, everybody says that). I wasn't there, but my gramps and dad were. They told me about it and pointed out the bleacher area they were in during the game when we took the Stadium tour. They had season tickets back then, and those tickets are still in the family today. How cool is that. So for my dad and gramps that would be the most memorable game. They said they didn't care who won by the 4th quarter they just wanted to go home they were so cold. Said people were drinking whiskey to stay warm.

The most memorable are the heart breaking losses. Ugh.. 97 SB and losing to the giants in 07 championship game. That was a hell of a game. Probably the most exciting game I've ever seen to date. But also probably the most painful loss I've ever experienced as a packer fan. Even worse than the 97 SB. I thought this was going to be a magical year for the Pack/Farve. Giants missed the FG, God is on our side, we will win this now. GO PACK GO!! Nope, ******* throws a crappy pass and it's over. Still an open wound and painful to think about. Ugh....

Two games come to mind...

The first was in 96 in the playoff game against the 49ers at Lambeau. This game was a MUD BOWL and it was spectacular. The 49ers were a damn good ball club back then, but the Packers were just unstoppable. Speaking of unstoppable, the 49ers knew that Desmond Howard was going to run one back, but they couldn't do anything about it...he ran a punt back for a touchdown that game. This was also during a time when the Packers simply couldn't be beaten at home when it was cold. Unreal.

But my favorite game of all time would have to be the 08 playoff game against the Seahawks at Lambeau. It was snowing pretty hard and the packers were down 14-0 in the first quarter. Then all of a sudden, the packers got into the end zone, again, and again, and again. .. And our old *** quarterback was playing like he was 26 again... with all the snow, Lambeau looked like a post card or something. During that three hour period, there wasn't a ball club in the NFL that wasn't envious of the magic that was going on in Lambeau Field with the GBP.

Sadly the 4th and 26 haunts me far too often.

The "we want the ball, and we're gonna score" was awesome.

Non Packer game had to be the Giants beating Pats in Super Bowl

The OT game against Seattle was pretty damn funny (and I was in Seattle at the time silently laughing at them), but I'd pick the '78 Dolphins/Oilers game. Maybe it's because I have a DVD of it and have watched it way too many times.

Agreed 100%. Well said.

My brother was there and a group took part of the goalpost across the street, cut it up with a torch and all of them took a piece of the goalpost home. Tom gave it to a trophy maker to have it mounted, and it "disappeared". That ****** that stole it will rot forever in hell, I'm sure.

That would be awesome to see!! It's unfortunate that it was stolen - that would be a great keepsake!

Not a Packer game but how about the Vikings vs Cardinals, with the Cardinals scoring a 20+ yard touchdown on the last play to send the Packers to the playoffs and the Vikings home. I remember listening to that game on the radio at the end and could not believe the miracle actually happened.

How bout paul allans call from last year... For gods sake this isn't Detroit this is for the superbowl!! I will always love that moment watching Favre choke away yet another game..

My fav was the pack vs panthers NFC championship because I was at that game n it was truley amazing, I was also at the 2008 divisional game which was awesome I love the snow bowl and then I was disappointed when I left lambeau in 2008 after the championship game.

O ya pretty much ALL of 2010 was unforgettable and I will cherish this season till the day they put me in a green n gold casket!!

Memorable (cuz their awesome games):
-Aaron Rodgers demolishes the no.1 seed falcons and out performs "mini brady".
-Superbowl Win in SB31 and SB45 (sorry for only being 18, i'd put the other 11championship wins on this list).
-Beating the Lions in the Wildcard (Dad had it on VHS)
-Daggering The Vikings season (wk11 2010 season)
-The 59 point preseason butt whooping of the Colts.

Memorable (cuz it sucks):
-Brett Favre vs Vikings Playoffs: Seeing my idol choke and having to see those thug vikings celebrate with their afros, seeing moss moon the crowd.
-4th & 26: enough said
-losing to Brett (twice) in 2009: Then having to listen to PrimeTime rip the Packer Fans on the NFL network...claiming Lambeau Field was the house that "BRETT BUILT" (not lombardi/starr/fans/or that curly LAMBEAU guy, Brett Built Lambeau Field?)
-Superbowl 32, 07 NFC Title Game, and Wildcard Shootout in Ariz: A good football game, but with crappy outcomes.

A game that stuck in my head a lot was the Packers vs. Raiders the day after Favre's father passed.

Are you kidding me? The Packers beating the Bears in the NFC Title Game to advance to the Super Bowl. The entire Bears fanbase had tastes of greatness until they ran up against the wall of the Green Bay Packers.
It doesn't get any better than this. It just doesn't unless you can beat the Vikings and Bears in a single game, which we probably could have done.
Lots of other memorable games, but this was so fooking sweeeeeeet!
