I'm assuming the reason it's half a Dallas star is because the super bowl is in Dallas. And they are "bound for Dallas". Pretty cheesy but someone will buy it.

That's what I thought it was at first too... Can't say it looks very good with the blue/white color scheme (cowboys anyone?) and just green name/number. I feel sorry for the poor soul who buys this.
