That option is pretty huge for a QB. A good starting QB right now is worth about 32M/season on the market. So when the option for a late QB is like half that, it's a pretty valuable thing to have in the back pocket. If they think that they can get him in the 3rd round, then I could see them waiting. But if the plan is to take him at #37, then the price to move up is probably worth it for that 5th year. I honestly have no idea where Hurts goes and have no clue how the media would have a good feel for it either. Teams are going to be all over the map on him depending on what they want at QB. But I will guarantee you that *if* NFL clubs think he's a starter for all or most of his rookie contract, he will go higher than people think. The guy that I think the media is too high on is Eason. If there's a QB that someone is coming up for at the end of the 1st round, I doubt it's him.</blockquote>
