Message: <blockquote data-quote="Mondio" data-source="post: 940290" data-attributes="member: 10441">It will, but I don't think it will be by as much as people think.  Certainly nothing like the case of GB playing without Rodgers.  I don't think Cousins is bad by any means.  But much of what he does is done because their running game makes it so.  If it was an offense dependent on their QB making plays he wouldn't be having near the season.  To me, there's a difference between a QB making plays and making the throw.  Call it however you want, but Rodgers makes 4-6 plays every game where it's fairly obvious he is making that play by the read, by the throw by how he sets up a rusher by moving in the pocket to make the play.  QB's like Cousins make throws to pretty open receivers on plays that are set up by their run game.  When the pressure is on a QB like that to actually make the plays, they often times toss INT's.  I don't know who the vikings have for a back up.  Of course I expect him to be less than Cousins or he'd be the starter, but if he can throw a decent enough ball to open receivers, I do not expect to see a huge drop off in their offense.  Cousins doesn't open up the run game for Cook.  So him not being there isn't going to matter to the majority of their offense.</blockquote>
