Hey guys,

I was going to get this in last night, however I forgot, and was incredibly busy today. Hopefully I'm gonna get this done, and explained in the next 90-ish minutes before the draft starts. This mock was done on nflmockdraftdatabase.com Free For all fast speed.

Pick 52: Chase Bisontis IOL Texas A&M. 6'5 315. Road grader. We need interior O-Line help. I'd say we need 3 starters and a primary backup, but at the very least we need a starter. This kid I believe can come in and start right off out of camp. Also considered at this pick were linebackers C.J. Allen of Georgia and Jacob Rodriguez out of Texas Tech. Went for the bigger need by drafting Bisontis.

Pick 84: Mike Washington RB Arkansas. 6'1 223. This guy looks like a scat back but he has size mixed with mid 4.3 speed. Pair him with Jacobs this year and see how he develops. I think we missed with Lynch at this point and Washington fits the Lynch role as we expected him to. I also considered Malachi Fields due to his 6'4 220 size, but at 4.6 in the 40 Love's not gonna have enough time to let him get open with our O-Line. I think Washington brings the safeties up for the homerun balls to Kraft, Golden and co.

Pick 120: De`Zhaun Stribling WR Ole Miss. 6'2 207. Admittedly the numbers got me on this guy. This size mid 4.3 speed If he's turns out to be a bigger Matthew Golden AND a healthier Christian Watson he'll be great in this offense. Other players I looked at were CBs Chandler Rivers out of Duke who I felt at 5'9 was too short and Julian Neal out of Arkansas. IF I would've chosen a corner it was gonna be Neal at almost 6'2 with high 4.4 speed, but I just loved the jets on Stribling more.

Pick 153: Chris McLellan DL Missouri. 6'3 (shade under 6'4 really) 313. Proctor probably needs to gain 10-15 pounds prior to camp if we're going to use him as a DT. I did see him last year liked the technique and motor. Think NFL has him a bit undervalued at 5.98. Also considered Kaleb Proctor out of Southeast Louisiana. The difference for me was competition and size. I think we get more value with McLellan but if we draft Proctor I won't be too upset.

Pick 160: Taylen Green QB Arkansas. 6'6 227. If this was just a name of a guy I hadn't seen this would be a huge reach. Listed at 141 on the list. Getting him here huge steal. Playmaker, big guy. 4.3 speed. Decision making ability is sometimes suspect. But we're not expecting him to start day 1, if at all. He's a draft develop and trade later. Also considered Boettcher out of Oregon, Schrauth from Notre Dame, Benny out of Michigan, Trigg out of Baylor, Prysock from Washington. I like Green better than everyone else and I've actually seen about 3 of the guys on this list.

Pick 201: Charles Demmings Stephen F. Austin. 6'1 193. Admittedly at this point it's draft the best available corner. I've also seen that Demmings is a stereotypical Gutey pick at CB. Haven't seen the kid play have to admit it's a hope pick. I hope it works out.

Pick 226: Pat Coogan IOL Indiana. 6'5 311. National championship O-Lineman. Looks like he's 33 years old with a mortgage and 2 kids. I look at this guy and see the Center/Guard version of Chad Clifton 25 years ago. We need to load up IMO on IOL Coogan has the championship pedigree. Also considered George Gumbs Jr. here, but very briefly.

Pick 255: Le`Veon Moss RB Texas A&M. 5'11 203. To me he's a day 2 pick we're getting round 7 probably due to his 40 time. Can he pick up speed? Maybe. Is he a smaller back that can be shifty and sneak around and find holes? Probably. There was nobody at CB or LB that I liked with this pick so honestly I doubled up at RB to improve the position and create competition.

As most of you know I draft a linebacker in every draft, cause I love my linebackers. This year I was not able to. I was looking at Anthony Hill Jr at 120, but I saw Stribling's speed and drooled. So for the first time EVER this is a linebacker free draft. That SHOULD tell you Gutey will probably draft like 4. So just be prepared.

Hope you guys have fun with this as well as the draft. Feedback and thoughts concerns, prayers, vitreol, I'm here for it. Just keep the pitchforks pointed at Tyni :p

I don't know what to think about our USC RB. But if he's healed; maybe we don't draft another one early. But I like your mix and explanations.

6 Offense and 2 Defense draft with 4 O skill players? I think Gute would be dragged around social media if he did that. I'd probably be less than happy myself to be honest.

As mentioned at 255 I wanted to double up on Corner, or go LB. There was nobody I wanted (Rolder gone, Sorrey gone at LB). Not only that, and I didn't previously mention this but the guys I DID want were rated in the 300s and 400s. Did you want me to reach for a linebacker who won't probably even get a UDFA deal? How about a corner that's gonna be bagging groceries by the 4th of July? I get it, I went offense heavy, and very much so. I improved the team, attempted to fix holes. and get the best possible player with each pick.
