Was it really necessary to bump every Koren Robinson topic from the last 5 months? All I was trying to say is I hope the guy is able to come back from his suspension a better person and be able to help our football team, assuming he stays out of trouble. If Goodell doesn't reinstate him, it's not like the Packers were going to approach training camp this season expecting him to be here Week 1. **** happens, and we'll be prepared for it regardless. I do feel the Packers would like to have him back because I don't think the guy would be assisting the team doctor during his sentence, so he can rehabilitate his knee, just so the Packers can forget about him. I look at it this way, as I'm sure many other forum members do as well. If Koren serves his suspension and gets reinstated, that's great because he'll hopefully be able to help this football team once he gets back up to speed. If Goodell will not reinstate him, what can you do? We'll be prepared regardless, so it's no big deal one way or the other. Edit: And it's not unprecedented that a player has been reinstated after a 1 year suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. Leon Lett was suspended for 1 calendar year in 1996 for violating it and was able to come back in 1997 and played until 2001 not to mention a few other players have also been reinstated. Goodell is definitely being a hardass when it comes to his suspensions, which I commend, but it's not like reinstatement has never happened before.
