Bigby To Undergo Surgery On Friday

Atari Bigby expected to be a week into a competition with rookie Morgan Burnett for the starting strong safety spot at this point in camp. Instead he is getting ready to have surgery on Friday for a lingering left ankle injury that will sideline him for an undetermined period of time.

His last surgery was "akin to microfracture surgery". This is not good news for him. Looks like it's Burnett's job to lose.
