His salary this year is less than 1 million but is slated to be over 14 million next year.  Aaron Jones is making 1 million this year then 1.1 million next year but his salary is sloted at over  8 million in 2023.I think what you may be thinking of is back when they were going into an uncapped year they put that rule in to keep Jerry Jones and Dan Schneider and anyone else of course <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/wink.png"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=";)" title="Wink    ;)" data-shortname=";)" />  from giving a player 50 million in the uncapped year with a lot less in future years.</blockquote>
