Well that sounds way better that it was due to injury. Where I read my post, they didn't mention anything about an injury being the reason... that's some crappy journalism right there. Thanks for clearing that up for me Poppa!
Learned about it by reading past the headlines in the linked article.

One negative I read on Jackson is he lost his starting position at one point last year... so don't like hearing that. But he was a 5 star recruit coming out of High School.
Kind of a Boom or Bust Day 3 type.

If he hits he’s great height for CB and very fast. 4.41 40 time at 6’1” and really strong at 190lb with 19 Reps at 225lb.

When Domani came back for the final game of the season (against Oklahoma), he played much better. Against Georgia in the SEC championship and the Hoosiers in the playoffs, he played even better. In these 3 games he gave up a total of 6 catches for 7 yards. He wasn't even targeted against Indiana. So the best QB in college football playing with the National Championship team, did not even try to complete a single pass against him.

Whether an injury or a benching, the kid came back and played some great football. Says something about him and I am very glad he is a Packer. So, I love the pick and think this has a much higher chance of sticking with the team than an average 6th round pick. He has all the tools.

^This. Big time recruit coming out of high school in SoCal. Has all the measurable tools. He can cover. The big drawback talking to many of my Bama fans here in Mississippi is that he doesn't like contact. At all. It was pretty much the one thing they all said.

The more I read about Domani, the more I like. I think his downfall was taking things for granted and maybe getting a bit lazy at Bama. But man, if this guy can take to Packer coaching and his teammates, I think he has a high ceiling. He and DDS could be the steals of the 2026 draft.

Interesting that Former Packer and Bama Alum, Ha-Ha Clinton Dix, was the one that motivated him to get "back in the game."
