2026-2027 Packers BOLD predictions

1. If healthy, there's going to be a point where Marshawn Lloyd isn't going to go off the field much. The kid is such a HR threat which is lethal for our offense. I see a lot of Jahmeir Gibbs in him. Come November/December, Lloyd is going to be the top guy, where Jacobs is going to be the goal line/ short yardage/ ice the game guy.

2. Aaron Banks gets benched for Jager Burton. I never thought Banks was any good. Even at ND I thought he was relying more on the all-americans around him.I think this will be a big miss from Gutey.

3. Cisse and St. Juste eventually become your boundary corners. Valentine is a JAG. I love the makeup of Cisse, and eventually he's going to put it together. I'm hoping that St. Juste is just a real good zone corner. Nixon is a classic ' don't believe your lying eyes' type player. He may have descent PFF stats, but watching the games you're not real satisfied.

4. This may be the boldest one, but I do believe Matt is going to let Jordan cook. I'm hoping Matt re-gained his sense of sight back and sees what he has in Jordan; an elite NFL QB. I believe he's going to cut the s*** on the 2nd and long runs and instead of being a run to set up the pass, he's going to rely on Love to get in more unpredictable situations. He's going to be used like a elite QB is what I'm trying to say.

5. To piggyback off that, I think we have two 1k WRs, Matt Golden and Christian Watson. I'm completely confident in Watson if healthy. I believe Golden will get there because I think he's the bucket getter and a big play guy, and another lesson I think Matt learned is too condense the pass catchers. Golden/Watson/Reed/Kraft should get 80+ percent of the targets.

6. The Packers will equal their last year's sack total with 4 players. Parsons/Wyatt/Hargrave/LVN will combine for at least 36 sacks.

7. The Packers will have 3 All-Pros. 3 of Love/Tom/McKinney/Kraft get there.

8. Not bold, but we obviously taken the SB home this year!

Some NFC North Bold Predictions
1. The Lions finish 4th and miss the play-offs. Jared Goff is going to look like Jared Goff does without an elite line. And the defense is a mess.
2. The Minnesota Vikings are one of the best teams in The NFC. Kyler is going to have a resurgence at QB with KOC and The Vikings offense. I like parts of their D and think Flores will put it together.
3. I'm having trouble with Chicago. It's not bold to say they regress or don't make the play-offs. I guess I'll say Caleb doesn't improve and remains the guy he is. A pretty mid QB who makes clutch plays from time to time.

Lloyd adds another receiving weapon. He was a very potent in space option for Caleb His lateral cut ability is elite and his vision is near elite. He’s more above average speed nothing crazy there. He’s a missed tackle waiting to happen. Caleb Williams to Marshawn Lloyd at USC was a 50+ waiting to happen.

Thus far, Jacob Monk has taken nearly every snap at LG. I think he’s hitting his stride and Banks has got to elevate or they’ll pull him for Monk.

Golden is a highlight reel player. He snagged a nearly uncatchable pass from Jordan just this week. From boots on the ground Lloyd and Golden appear to have made a leap so far early in.

Im excited to see who rises between Cox Jr and Sorrell. Also Gannon is already wisely using a variety of options. Oliver, Cooper and Nixon are all seeing Pass Rush opportunities this week. Each have blown plays up. Reports are our D was 3-0 in Camp thus far.

I do think Nixon wins 1 spot at CB. I think the easiest upgrade I’d over Valentine, he’s a good Pass Defender, but awful against the Run. We need more balance there imo. Valentine is a good 3rd.

I saw the predictions on NFL.com. It has the North as Bears 11-6, Lions and Pack at 10-7, and Vikes at 9-8. Pretty close. Rams, Boys, and Bucs win the other divisions. Seahawks, 9ers, and Panthers to be the WCs. Pretty close. No 13 win teams in either conference. And that includes Denver and Seattle.
Myles Garrett just may bring another SB to LA. Mahommes and the Chiefs will be a question mark. The biggest knock on the Packers is the loss of players who played a ton of snaps over the last 3 seasons added to the fact that it is a team with new coaches and players. Picture a family reunion with many happy distant relatives that hardly know one another. The Bills may finally win one.

Chicago lost LB Tremaine Edmund’s but signed LB Devin Bush.

Chicago lost Safeties Kevin Byard, Jaquan Brisker and Jonathan Owens, but added Coby Bryant and spent their RD1 at Safety Dillon Thieneman, then signed Cameron Lewis to a $3Mil deal. On paper this was their 1 upgraded Room, but that remains to be seen with a Rookie over a Veteran etc.

Chicago drafted Center Logan Jones in RD2 and signed Garret Bradbury, but they lost Probowl Center Drew Dalman to retirement. This move was 200% desperate need, but shouldn’t be considered a pure upgrade either.

Chicago brought on board WR Kalif Raymond ($3.5M) from Detroit and drafted Zavion Thomas back of RD3. Both put together do both cover losing WR’s
DJ Moore ($27.5Mil/85% snaps) and Olamide Zaccheaus ($2.35M/50% snaps)

The Bears lost TE Durham Smith to the Ravens on a $3mil deal, but drafted San Roush to help cover that loss.

The Bears lost LT Ozzy Trapilo to IR
in the Postseason. While he’s not irreplaceable, it’s like us losing a decent Starter in Rasheed Walker. They have no guaranteed upgrade there. Chicago resigned Braxton Jones ($5M) and he is their best chance. Theirs is a 3-way competition with their 2024 RD3 draft pick Amegadgie involved. Literally a 3-way rotation in Camp.

The Bears lost CB Nahshon Wright to the Jets on a $3.5Mil

Imo Chicago lost at OL, plus backed up slightly at Edge, WR, CB.
-Broke even at TE
-Looks to gain at Safety IF their Day 1 hits out of the gate.
Lost their starting LS to Arizona and parted ways with a veteran DT Andrew Billings ($2.4M) in exchange for a RD6 with good upside (Jordan Van Den Berg)

Or suffers several crippling injuries to top players. The Lions felt it with Hutchinson in 2024. Vikings felt it at QB last year. Pack really got hit. Bears seemed to survive.

That is how fragile it is. The team could go 11-6 or 6-11. MLF may be the difference here. Not sure we will see any team in the league win more than 13. But they do not necessarily need to do that.

True that. Although I believe Tyrod Taylor would keep us at .500 with our Defense. He’s the most experienced backup we’ve had in as long as I can recall.

That was what others had, too. Upside 10-7 and downside 7-10. Bears to win it probably at 11-6 somehow edging out the Lions and Vikings at 10-7. This is a year when division games are critical even more. Forget the assault from the Rams, Bills, Texans, and Patriots.

Funny there was a show with Stephen Smith and several other. Stephen had GB finishing 10-7 splitting games with division opponents a loss to Tampa etc. one of the other dudes had GB finishing 6-11? which just shows an utter contempt for our entire organization.
