The trade details got me excited and I figured I would give it a go! Starting with a trade back, where JSN still fell to the Packers.

1(13): TRADE: Packers trade 1(13) to Tampa Bay for (1)19 and 2(51)

1(19): Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR (6’0, 198lbs): In the mock draft conducted on TDN, he was available. Is this realistic? Unlikely, but we know JSN is the slot receiver of the draft. The Packers young WR core improves. RAS 8.34

2(43): Felix Anudike-Uzomah, Edge (6’3, 255lbs): I see flashes of Kahlil Mack, and think growing under Preston Smith and Rashan Gary’s leadership will help him thrive. RAS 8.73

2(46): Darnell Washington, TE (6’7, 265lbs): Easily the biggest hole on the Packers roster is TE. Washington fills the immediate need as a Y-tight end and will be a day 1 starter. RAS 9.88

2(51): Jaelyn Duncan, OT (6’6, 315lbs): Versatile and athletic OT that can also kick into guard. RAS 9.01

3(79): DJ Turner, CB (5’11, 178lbs): Super athletic outside corner. Could see him beating out Stokes as CB2 early into the 2023 season. RAS 9.58

4(117): Sydney Brown, S (6’0, 211lbs): Strong safety that is fast and aggressive against opposing TEs. RAS 9.68

5(151): Josh Whyle, TE (6’6, 245lbs): Versatile big slot out of Cincinnati. RAS 8.98

7(234): Deuce Vaughn, RB (5’5, 179lbs): Listen, I know he is small, but you cannot argue that kind of production. RAS 4.32

7(237): Matt Landers, WR (6’4, 200lbs): Another 6’4 WR that runs a sub 4.4? Yes, please. Have him and Watson streak down the field and watch the middle open for JSN real quick.

No joke I think DJ Turner falling into the third is far less likely than JSN falling to 19. Like all of these prospects and they fit the GB type...well except JSN from a positional in the round perspective.

Absolutely love this draft! The only question mark for me is Duncan who's incredibly raw and has some real bad tape at times. Getting Landers in the 7th is real nice. I'm really rooting for Vaughn because he's undeniably electric on the field and I hope he has a similar career to Sproles. Whyle is the perfect compliment to Washington. Turner is a steal in the third. Absolutely love the first three players!
