    It is a very good sign though that the NFL didn't decide to put him on the exempt list making it impossible for him to come to practice. They could have chosen to do so if they felt there was enough evidence to support this.

    One issue is if you're the player and you are traded....all that guarantee is gone...say he gets injured and cannot play....gonezo. One of the reasons why I think a small bone throw could be done through one year extension and prorated across the four years, lowering his cap hit even sweeter...

    No one can answer this, as it only exists in the future. However, Garrett is one of very few guys you don't consistently beat 1 on 1...you will lose, the key is trying to avoid losing massively and/or mitigate the true losses to as few as possible.
