It is a little worrying to me. The two bottom ranked coaches last year were fired (Eberflus and Pederson). Previous year, the lowest ranked coaches were Ron Rivera and Josh McDaniels, who were also fired. Jonathan Gannon received a better grade in this year’s report card than MLF.
Maybe it’s...
Not sure how much this matters, if at all, but this is the 2025 NFLPA report card for the Cardinals. Overall, the organization ranked 32/32 and near or at the bottom in virtually every category. The one exception was head coach, where Gannon ranked pretty highly. Maybe that won’t translate into...
He has some gunslinger characteristics, but he’s been very INT averse, outside of these last two playoff games. Just 1.2 percent of his passes are picks, which would be the best of all time if he had enough attempts to qualify.
I’m skeptical of how sustainable that is for him. In his prime, Rodgers could make similar plays out the pocket, but he was great in the pocket too. But if Caleb continues to develop, he could be an elite QB.
One thing that’s always stood out to me is that LaFleur’s teams don’t blow out opponents often. True, a win is a win, but a big win is generally a sign of a team firing on all cylinders, which we don’t see often with MLF. There always seems to be something holding the team back from playing a...
Really tired of special teams costing us each year. The kicker position has been so inconsistent since Crosby. Can't we just have okay special teams? Why is it seemingly always a disaster?
Too much to say, so I’ll just focus on special teams in our last four playoff appearances under MLF.
2025: McManus misses three kicks that cost us the game
2024: Fumble on kick return and McManus missed a FG
2023: Carlson missed a FG that probably cost us the game
2021: Blocked FG and...
The Bears should have lost to the Lions by a lot more than 3, but that seems to be their game this year. Just hang around until the 4th quarter and try to pull it out in the end. I can't imagine we are going to be favorites in this game, and I probably wouldn't pick us to win, but I'd also be...
I know Tune is young and things are a bit stacked against him because he’s playing with all of our second and third stringers against a good defense, but he can’t be our #2 QB next year. We need to find a better option.
I wasn’t sure if he was mixing up those two losses or referring to Carlson’s missed field goal in 2023 which may have cost us the game.
Special teams played a role, to varying degrees, in our playoff exits in 2021, 2023, and 2024.
I’m seeing lots of discussion about this topic but it doesn’t have its own thread. Some people are claiming that Willis is better than Love and brings more to the table, while others are saying that claim is crazy and that backups have a splashy games here and there (like Matt Flynn).
What are...
Willis was a stud. Did everything you can ask of a backup. He’s going to get paid by someone this offseason.Watson had a nice game, too.
The entire defense was a dud.
We’re in the playoffs, but does anyone actually see us going anywhere? You can’t win without a pass rush and we have nothing...
