    Viking's New QB?

I know there are some Vikings fans here on this board, and I was curious what their reaction is/was to this bit of news: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3928630 I think Sage is a reliable back up, but a starter?...not so sure. IMO Vikings would be better off releasing Frerotte...

    FAVRE WILL RETIRE!

I'd be nice if the Pack retired his jersey at the opening game. It would finally signal the end of the Favre era, and bring closure to last year's tomoltuous season. Rodgers could also play without any sort of monkey on his back, as Favre would be officially done with the NFL.

I want Tebow drafted for the Vikes

Why do the Vikes need Tebow when it's seeming more and more possible that they'll get Favre? *pause* *thundering laughter!*

Bills sign Bob Sanders (ex-Packer DC)

I'll try to be as non-biased as possible...but this is tough... First of all, I'm sorry. The Packer's D was the Achilles Heel this year. For as good as the offense was (and it was good)...the D was very porous...often giving up leads in the 4th quarter for no apparent reason. The run defense...

Reasons to be Optimistic for 2009

He's good at holding out for a contract extension, getting it, and then failing to live up to expectations set by last season's performance.

So now that the Pack's out of the playoffs...

Is there a particular team that you're pulling for in the playoffs? (Not trying to be a bandwagon or fairweather fan, just curious) I'm a Packers and Steelers fan...so I'm pulling for the Steelers...but I wouldn't mind seeing the Patriots make it to the playoffs, either (being a citizen of New...

Need some help Packer fans!! Cold weather gear!!

You go to UMAINE? Nice. I live in the Dedham area...currently working at the University campus in Bangor. I went to all of the Maine Black Bears home games this year (including the disappointing, but Lambeau-like last game of the regular season)...nice to see a nearby Packer's fan on the...

    TT's take on Moss

TT's reluctance to nab Moss has always baffled me (and frustrated Favre). I think the main reason for his reluctance, and one that I can agree with, is because the deal for Moss involved trading Rodgers out of Green Bay. Luckily, Greg Jennings has evolved into a receiver on par with Moss's...

If Rodgers is out, how many agree TT made a brilliant move .

I honestly see Favre as both the reason for why we made it so far into the playoffs last season as well as the reason why we didn't make it to the Superbowl. He can make an entire team play better than what they normally would be...as well as make costly mistakes in the worst situations...

    An Opposition's View

I don't think too many Pack fans "love" Ted Thompson at this point. The support that he generates is mainly due to our loyalty to the franchise, and not necessarily him. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any other team in the NFL that doesn't have some sort of veteran QB either starting...

    Flynn

According to the Packer's official site, there is no major structural damage to Aaron Rodger's arm. Whether or not he plays on Sunday is now up to how he feels during and after Wednesday's practice. Here's hoping he can continue the Pack's trend of playing through the pain!

    Flynn

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=a ... &type=lgns Yep! There's the article. Keeping my fingers crossed as well. A victory here (if Aaron is indeed 100%) would really be good for his confidence level (as well the team's and fans' faith in him) after coming off of a loss (Dallas) and a...

    Flynn

So, there's a good possibility that Rodgers will not be playing this Sunday (McCarthy may decide to give him a week or more to make sure he's 100%). How do you all think Flynn will measure up against the Falcons? I haven't watched any of his college career, but he did look impressive in the...

Backing the Pack from New England

Ello' fellow cheeseheads. I've been a Packers fan ever since the mid 90's (during Favre's MVP-Superbowl appearances) and haven't wavered since (though I do root for the Steelers in the AFC). To me, the Packers are truly America's team (despite the Cowboys holding the title). They aren't...
