I find it ironic when fans of other teams covet the Lombardi Trophy, but stubbornly resist giving props to Lombardi's accomplishments and legacy. You can only win the Super Bowl if it exists, kids.

I know this will sound strange to some, but for me the name "Lombardi" on that trophy feels personal. The thought of guys like that touching it - well, let's just say I appreciate the Patriots not allowing that to happen tonight, especially after that display.
