Computer-Timed Route Includes Lap Around Lambeau Field
The Green Bay Packers and Bellin Health today announced details for the inaugural 5K Run at Lambeau Field, set for the morning of the Packers' first day of training camp, July 31.
The computer-timed run, which begins at 10 a.m., is highlighted by a neighborhood route that ultimately takes participants into Lambeau Field and around the famed gridiron. The event has a special finish line located in the parking lot - a replica of the team's 50-yard line, which will be created on a partially sized natural grass field, painted to mirror Lambeau Field on game day.
"As our players get training camp underway, runners and walkers can participate in their own way through the 5K," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. "The start of training camp is an energizing time. We're excited to add this healthy-minded event as part of the kickoff weekend."
Bellin Health will be contributing its cons..
