[QUOTE="HardRightEdge, post: 565996"] Gillett is inconsistent. Janis is not ready for prime time; the fact they've not advanced him for punt return duty indicates he's not seen to be ready. If Janis makes it, it will be as a stretch for the #6 position. Myles White is the #5 WR in my view. He looks to be consistent in his route running, looks effective over the middle, and I think he's had only one uncontested drop in the preseason. He's a guy who can play wide or slot; the versatility should get him on the roster. I like Rolle for the #10 DB. Goodson has looked quite poor in coverage and at age 25 he becomes a long shot as a development project. Elliott is 3rd. team All Pro! By that I mean he looks like an All Pro among third-teamers. ;) He's got that quick first step and already looks like a better edge rusher than Perry. Perry continues to look like a one-trick pony...bull rush off the edge...while still looking mostly lost in other aspects of the game. Still, you have to figure him to stick because of the investment. I think Elliott makes it as 5th. or 6th. OLB. As for the other guys competing for 5 and 6, I've not been impressed with any one of them. If I had to guess, I'd say Mulumba sticks. He's fairly athletic, has an impressive build, and he's not afraid to hit people; he's serviceable in and around the box. He's not very impressive off the edge or in coverage, but neither are the other contenders. Maybe he learns some "space skills" as he goes, but that's a crap shoot. 3-4 OLBs who are not proficient at edge rushing are a dime a dozen....OK, more like $18 million a dozen...which is why Elliott should be one of the guys.
