Clarke Hinkle :552 yards rushing - Att 129- Ave 4.3 - Td 5 in 1937. This was done in 11 game NFL season. This was a rushing record until 1948.

In 1948 HB Tony Canadeo (1941-1944 , 1946-1952 )rushed for 569 yards- Att 123- Ave 4.6 - lg 49-- TD 4. This was done in 12 game NFL season.

In 1949 HB #3 Tony Canadeo was first Packer to break the 1,000 yard rushing,. Tony Canadeo gained 1,052-- Att 208--Av 5.1 --lg 54 -Td 4 .This was a great accomplishment By Tony Canadeo in 1949 and was done in 12 game NFL season..

In 1930'a and 1940's, in a game there were as many as 4 Running backs sharing the running duties. In 1937 when Clark Hinkle gained 552 yards that was in 11 game NFL season with only 129 Rushing attempts. The most rushing attempts Clarke Hinkle had was in 1934 was 144 attempts

Both Packer fullback Clarke Hinkle and Packer HB Tony Canadeo are in Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Oh.

College: Stevens Point Wisconsin.

I have a friend that is a decent of Ted Fritsch, alot of the family still lives in this area... He was born in Spencer, WI.

Fritsch only led the Packers in rushing TWO consecutive seasons. Thats why i didn't guess him, cause the info you posted about the player pictured was incorrect.

What's with the stats discrepancy on Packers.com about Ted Fritsch 44-46 vs 42,44,45 as (highlighted in your quote)?
Still 3 years, but just curious.
