I'm also predicting us to be second in the division, switching places with the Vikings. If the Lions do regress some, due to losing their coordinators and offensive lineman, I think it's a 50-50 race for the division between us and them.
Seems to me that people are either really high or low on the Packers, either they have us as the 2nd best team in the NFC, and a super bowl contender, being the main threat to the Eagles, or they have us as a fringe playoff team. Personally, I am thinking something along the lines of 11 to 13 wins, I'll go with 12, and the 5th or 6th seed in the NFC in the playoffs, I'll go with the 5th, at least if the Lions are as good as they were last year. I'm also predicting us to be second in the division, switching places with the Vikings. If the Lions do regress some, due to losing their coordinators and offensive lineman, I think it's a 50-50 race for the division between us and them. They did have some injuries to key players who will be back this year though, including Aiden Hutchinson. The Vikings are also hard to predict because they will have a different QB. Regardless, I do think we can beat the Vikings and match their win total because we should be an improved team. The defense should be one of the top defenses this year, as well as one of the top pass rushes, which should be fun to watch, although I am mildly concerned about the CB room. We don't need our cornerbacks to be elite with our pass rush, but they do need to be solid. Luckily, they did play decent down the stretch last year, and of course we also added Nate Hobbs, but they do need to keep it up, and I also think we can't afford any injuries. I think our run defense should be ok, despite the losses and inexperience at nose tackle, because of our linebackers, safeties, and Jeff Hafley's play calling. I think the wide receivers are going to be the x factor that determines how far this team goes this year. If they can eliminate the drops, stay healthy, and one or both of Golden and/or Watson can emerge as a consistent #1 big play downfield threat, then I think the sky is the limit, and we could win a super bowl this year. We would have one of the top offenses as well. Certainly, we would at least be in contention. Having Luke Musgrave breakout and the coaches getting Tucker Kraft more catches would go a long way as well. I do think our Super bowl window is back open, depending on WR improvement and Matthew Golden being the player we all think he is capable of being. With that being said, I feel like a super bowl is more likely in 26 or 27 because the Packers are still a very young team. I could see us being this year's version of the Commanders or the Bengals from 22, a team that is a tough out, and gets hot in the playoffs.
