Abbrederis, I think has more to offer as punt returner and at the receiver position, but can he stay healthy. So my long winded post is basically to say all 3 make it for at least another week or 2, then it will come down to White or Abbrederis. One of the suspension spots will be filled with them, and one will be cut when it's filled by Giuon or Jones. If Abbrederis stays healthy I think he's kept over White in the end.

[QUOTE="Mondio, post: 621379, member: 10441"] This is a tough one, I do think they will keep 6 to start the season and give Abbrederis some more time. They've kept him around for a reason. and last night he was out there a lot, targeted very little with really only one catchable pass. That last one I don't know if he ran his route too deep or the qb threw it in the dirt. Considering he'd been pretty accurate, at least not throwing Donavan McNabb balls, I'm not sure what happened there. He blocked well and seemed to come open more than a few times, with no looks really. Up to this point Hyde was our punt returner. Nobody showed punt return ability this preseason, i was disappointed after all the hype with Montgomery. I think Abbrederis has punt return ability, that ability to just slide and get thru space and head up field. He had the fumble that was called back because of penalty, that wasn't good, but then again it was his first real action in 2 years. We tend to see that from people getting back into playing shape. It's still no excuse though, you gotta hang on to that ball. and I think from the box stats people will overlook Janis and White, they're the same they've been. White's big plays were largely from poor defense. I think any receiver at this level should have made those catches and he had one glaring mistake on the int in the redzone. That, to me, overshadows everything else. Like I've said before, he seems to have something like this every game that shouldn't happen but maybe a handful of times per year. Easily dropped balls, bad routes and giving up the INT in the redzone. I don't ever see him making plays that I don't think many other receivers can make as well, so where's the upside? He's been available, and that can't be overlooked either. and Janis flashes again, and he has RB's and TE's that probably won't make the team telling him where he has to line up a few times a game. He should know the formations by now. I think he definitely makes the team because he plays hard and they can use his special skill set in certain situations, but I still don't see that he's reliable to be up to speed on the details of the game. Luckily his skill set can overshadow that some. I don't think Pinkard makes it, maybe PS. His TD was nice, but i'm not putting too much weight on it. Even with Abbrederis being out most of the preseason, he's 7th or 8th on this depth chart and I don't think it's close. The coaches and GM have a tough job ahead of them. I guess without really looking at every position and knowing the overall numbers it's hard to say. Right now my gut tells me that Janis is in, no doubt, and it's between White and Abbrederis. White has been around and playing hard, but I think his ceiling has been reached and it's not really impressive or difficult to replace. But he's been here and working hard consistently.
