What these fans don't realize, only 1 team "wins it all" and even to do that, the stars have to align just right.  I have already seen a few posters hold the Rams up to the mantle and say "I told you so Packers, this is how its done, you messed up!"  Seems to me the Packers not only had a better record than the Rams, but also beat them quite convincingly in Week 12.  Right, but lets mortgage the future, for that one shot at the SB.Anyway, yes these back-loaded, guaranteed contracts, that teams have no intention of seeing the player through to the end of them, will temporarily sink more than a few teams, I just hope the Packers are not one of them.  I would be just fine if the NFL declared that starting in 2030, no money can be cap deferred, in other words, you pay as you go.  Return the NFL to player development, coaching and smart player management, being what sets teams apart.  Not, what team can move the shells around the best, using future money, for the present.</blockquote>
