If not a big splash, Peppers signing was certainly a medium splash. I expected him to be "the answer" at a position for a couple of seasons. And so did the Packers. He was something like the second highest paid player in 2015 with the third highest cap number and I believe he's number four next season in both categories if he doesn't renegotiate. BTW, I really don't care whether or not other teams were interested in him - or that only the Bucs and Packers were interested in Woodson, for example. IMO Thompson gets full credit for both signings and blame for not signing more free agents.</blockquote>
