Message: <blockquote data-quote="sschind" data-source="post: 775890" data-attributes="member: 10247"><p>For me it was hope but once we traded the 3rd rounder to Seattle it kind of screwed things up a bit.  Its hard to move high into a round without having a pick in that round to swap.  I think, had we had that third rounder Gute may have tried harder to trade up in the second but he would have had to give up quite a few picks 4th and later to do it.  He did move back up into the third but without having a 3rd rounder to swap as part of a deal it was probably difficult to move up any higher than he did.  Once day three hit I don't think it mattered any more.  At that point you might as well take all the picks you can get.</p></blockquote><p></p>
