Message: <blockquote data-quote="Pokerbrat2000" data-source="post: 910940" data-attributes="member: 7261">Agree and I think you meant to say "If Adams is no longer..."I would feel the same about any high priced player in a contract year.  If they have no intentions of resigning with the Packers AND it was felt that the team wasn't going to be in contention for a Super Bowl run that season, get everything you can for him now.  Waiting until the trade deadline would be an option, but the trade value is going to be a lot less, as will the number of teams willing to trade for him.Someone commented how crazy it is to want to get rid of Adams.  I think it would be crazier to know that he is done in Green Bay if Rodgers leaves, go through a 6-11 season, watch him sign with another team, say the Broncos/Vikings/Bears and then get a 3rd round comp pick for him in 2023.  Control who he goes to and what you get for him.I actually feel bad for MLF right now.  This guy is really in the sh*t seat with this.  He is trying to coach a team, stay cool with both the Players and the FO and really is an innocent bystander, with a lot to lose by either or both of those parties actions and decisions and no real control of it.</blockquote>
